Goals
According to Art 3 of the VN Constutition,the goals of Vodes.Net are to promote:
- open movements (open source and Creative Commons in particular) and free access to knowledge and digital art,
- the systematic production of freely accessible infotaining computer games, videos as well as digital art, as well as
- a healthy, socially-active, environmental conscious and multi-cultural life style of its members.
VN is a community which makes infotaining videos, organises sport (ProFun Games), cultural (international food days) and knowledge (course in Openoffice) activities for its members. Formally, the association has its seat in Austria but much of the decision making is done on the Beta Tester forum (the name Vodes comes from the english expression "VOTE" as its principlines have much to do with digitalisation and democracy).
